I wouldn't want it any slower (than 96 BPM).

How does 96 sound to you guys?

Hey @maudmaud and @Ripton , have you guys seen this?

I know that you’ve been working on the Christmas piece like I have been, and I’m sure you don’t want to miss the chance to have input on the tempo.

Cheers.

Here is a little sample of what the project will sound like when mixed.
Don't pay attention to the tempo.

I LOVE the video!

This IS a Fiddlerman/Fiddlershop GP... the fact this video was made at this tempo tells me it's the speed/energy THEY would like to hear this project played in.

If people have been learning the notes, then once the click-tracks become available it shouldn't take long to make it work in practice.

Unfortunately for folks just beginning to learn to play an instrument, there is NO super easy part to play in this particular project - if you have too much trouble in the time left, you can work toward the next one.

In case no one remembers, 86 people participated in the Fiddlershop Game of Thrones Virtual Group Project (2020)... take a listen to THAT tempo.

It was MY 1st GP.  I had only barely been playing a year when I participated in that one - and it took me A LONG TIME to learn it (very slowly), then it still took me time to practice it up to speed well enough, AND a zillion takes to record it back then.

I'm just saying - THIS PROJECT IS DOABLE AT THIS TEMPO!

Pierre - I urge you to set the tempo as YOU wish, but we could ALL benefit from practicing with the click-tracks.

I'm not trying to be a Grinch, I just hope everyone (thinking of participating) will challenge themselves to make this an exciting Christmas GP! 🤗

ROFL. Yes, but that was only because I wanted the tree in the background for our recording.

Thanks Emily. Yes, I am working on them. I am trying to do something more exciting this year which is the delay. Also, I've been dragging my feet and doing other things.

I'm glad to hear that you will be doing it despite the challenge. I was going to make an easy part but I never got to it. 😢

@Fiddlerman -

Sorry, think I was misunderstood.

I would like to see this GP done like in your video performance.

I am hoping prospective participants will challenge themselves to try to learn this, help make this an exciting project... and not get hung up on tempo.

I love it, too!  Really love those mordents.  So much fun to play and nice to hear.

Thank you for posting your performance, and for creating this wonderful project.

Quick question. At the end of line 2 f natural then f sharp do I slide my second finger from the f to the f sharp ? Same with when I play the e flat to the e at the beginning of line 3 ?
