@Gordon Shumway  Yeah, that fingering from c to f# is a bit awkward, but you soon get used to it.

I might come back to this piece in the future, but for the moment I feel I've done it to death and need to move on to something else, so I won't be doing any more research on it just now.

A kind vcom person has posted this link to all the cello suites transposed for violin.

pp.22/23 neatly contain the sarabande and the two bourées, so that you can print them two-sided onto a single piece of A4.

I'd be inclined to buy the Bärenreiter too, to edit the phrasings and bowings.
