@elcbk said "..did you ever get a chance to listen to..."

yes.  i think Im partial to how the The Coors play it or this from Lunasa.  I mean the tune is basically a D major scale over and over 🙂😉  . But alot of different ways to approach it huh?

Theyve done in a different key I think.

@ABitRusty -

Yes, I've been playing it in Lúnasa's Fdor.

I can actually play 2 octaves down, starting on the open C string - been looking for every excuse to play on my new low F string & this is perfect!

@ABitRusty Nice playing on Boys Lament for his Dragon.  I like the tempo/chord changes to switch the mood—very effective smile

@ABitRusty -

Like you sped up the playing & brought it forward!

SOUNDED GREAT!!!

Had some wonderful 'improv' in there - worked!

...know the other wasn't perfect, but still like a little more complex track, when it comes to Indian rhythm loops - just my personal pref.

@elcbk. and others...last version update.. like a virus or security update...lol. the stuff of nightmares.

recorded again and bumped up tempo another 10 to 145 so feeling good about that.  fixed the messup on the one track where i forgot where i was.   THOUGHT i fixed a mixing thing but now sounds muffled in another set of headphones i tried....oh well.. axtually wondering while i type this if i left the mono button engaged..dang 🤨 i kept swapping back from stereo to mono because ive noticed differences and was trying to get that ironed out.   think thats enough for kelp this week.  if thats what it is ill delete this version and post corrected tomorrow...time for a jig or two.

@ABitRusty -

Sounds GREAT!

Really glad you worked with the Indian rhythm track - got me stoked!

Want to mention how great your timing is - you kept in PERFECT sync!

So, did you only use PreSonus for this?

I'll be asking you more questions down the road.

Thanks for sharing this!

Thank ypu @mouse!!

@elcbk yes only presonus.  the India stuff is a KONTACT instrument in presonus, its not made by presonus but something i added.  Its a virtual instrument you can play with a keyboard.  The drone im playing with keyboard but its nothing but a couple of keys..  just a texture i added .. the beat is also that instrument but a loop.  i adjusted to half time and changed to key of D and a minor scale to get tuning correct.

there is also a right side fiddle using 1 type of mic...and a left fiddle using another type.   recorded 1 of them then just played along with it when i recorded the other side.   so 4 tracks all total.

@ABitRusty -

Thank you, VERY helpful!

...still hoping to get better acquainted with PreSonus after Fiddle Hell.

I listened to some demos of The Spotlight Collection: India (Komplete) - amazing.

@ABitRusty  That was great!  Think you got perfect tempo on it. Not listening thru headphones, so not hearing problems with the mixing—just sounds good smile

@ABitRusty I loved that. I was swaying and just truly enjoying it as I listened. I have no idea what all the talk about all of the gadgets and soundtracks is about, so, I don't reply much. But I am really liking what you are posting. Kudos! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
