@coolpinkone: Thanks Toni! Glad you liked.
@Fiddlestix: I wanted to do something a little different, so I googled up some wedding music websites to find some pop/rock songs that can be used as waltzes for dancing.
@Steve: That's the acoustic, no FX or touch-ups, but recorded at a distance of about 15 feet rather than with the mic close. Trying to go for a realistic "grab the instrument and whip off a tune" sound for a party feel. Unusual strings, though, if you've seen that thread.

Thanks, folks! You are very kind. And on a player's forum like this, I feel there is no greater praise than when someone says "I'm gonna give that a try.."
@ratvn: As I mentioned in chat, if you listen closely, you can also clearly hear the refrigerator motor in the background, and the sound of cars out on the street about 80 ft away. LOL It's just a really good mic. You've got the same mic and preamp I'm using, so try recording yourself at 15 ft or whatever. It will pick you up just fine, with maybe some minor adjustment to the preamp gain.

After one day in the hospital for a "radial heart cath" and a fallen sound post, here is my contribution to the party.
Strange what a camera will do to ya.

@Fiddlestix: Great playing! Really liked those songs too!

Thank's folks for the great comment's.
@ Fiddlerman;.... Actually I think the sound post was originally cut long because it raised the top at the F hole. Not sure, but I think the long sound post is for shipping purposes's so they don't fall out during shipping, but I don't know that for sure.
I removed it and sanded a slight bit off and when I replaced it it was too short and can't be resurected in it's proper location, because the top is still raised.
I removed the sound post and tightened the E string only to try and pressure that side of the top down to being flush with the other side of the F hole. Leaving it this way for 2 day's brought it back to somewhat normal, but not all the way.
I alway's have a problem using a sound post setter and keeping the post attached to the s/p while putting it in place. I called my luthier on Friday, he said he will be back in his shop on Monday, Aug. 5th after spending 6 week's at "Interlochen Art's Camp" repairing all the stringed instrument's that needed repair, either the camp rental's or student owned. He's going to cut a new sound post and give me a crash course in setting them using the tool.
I wanted to get the waltz video finished before I remove the sound post again and retighten the E string for several day's before the new sound post is installed.
As far as the hospital thing, I'm just fine, thank's. I wish it was as easy putting in a sound post as it is for the doctor to put in heart stent's. All that remain's is a pock mark in my wrist 1mm x 3mm. Having a heart cath is a piece of cake, I think this was the 13th cath I've had, but not alway's for the heart, a few time's for the leg's.
Again, thank's for the nice compliment's, everyone.
Ken.
