For inexpensive but reasonable quality, the Samson was probably not a bad choice, Bunkei. I haven't used anything by Samson in recent years, but they at least used to make some nice solid dependable stuff.
It's a large condenser mic, which is what I tend to prefer for voice and most acoustic instruments. Since it is direct to USB, it should be about the easiest hookup, which is nice when you're starting out.
