Pky, I hope you're feeling better, we'll all miss you, but your health is more important.  Please look after yourself and get well soon.

FM   Can you post a simple click track with the beat only on 60 which is where I've been  practicing?   I can simply add your narrative instructions to my score.

I have no metronome here that is exactly on your metronome to allow me  to make my own 60 timing.

I think I'm going to start recording/filming all my practice sessions from here on, in case I get the "ONE" take I'd feel reasonably comfortable sending up for my part in the project.

Trying to figure out how to get my Shofar into the Christmas project, so I can get a chance to win the fiddle!  LOL.

Never heard a Christmas concert with a Shofar before.  LOL

LOL,

I guess we have to be careful what we say. I'm not so careful in real life but some people get offended and worried about the young ones and what they may see, hear and learn. In my opinion they will see, hear and learn everything somewhere sooner or later. Our kids knew about the birds and the bees really early and never freaked out about it but they grew up in Sweden.

Now to what brings me to this subject. Some of you may have seen my first Jazz Improv video. I was wearing a T-shirt that says "Same s__t, different day" and was asked by a man who recommending my videos to youngsters if I could please remove the video. Normally I would just delete the video but quite a few people have mentioned that they appreciate that particular video since there is a lack of improve stuff for fiddles available. I placed some annotations over the word to try to hide it but those can be removed by the viewer.

Now, what does this have to do with the Christmas Project. roflol

Sorry for the deviation.

Shofar is not a bad word at all as it is just a horn. Similar words from different languages are pronounced the same. If you didn't get HCs chauffeur joke you'll be ok. Shofar and Christmas is ok as both religions celebrate the same God. Nobody is arguing but some are laughing at a dirty joke.

Huh?
I'm not sure I know what you're talking about, MGN. I didn't make any kind of chauffeur joke, let alone a dirty one.

I attended a Christmas Pageant put on by Messianic Jews (Jews who recognize Yeshua/Jesus as the Messiah of prophecy), at which a Shofar (hollowed out ram's horn wind instrument) was played. I was a kid at the time, and the blast of the horn took me quite by surprise.

My statement was literal.

Any other interpretation or attempt to bend the meaning of my words to something else is entirely in the mind of the reader. I don't do dirty jokes in general, and certainly not in a public forum my kids read.
