Since you are calling it the semi-final try.
Could you play the first accented notes of every bar shorter kind of like I did on the Violin 1 demo. That would make it even better.
Measures 25 and 26, if you can raise the F# a little more it would be better.
Also if you can lower the C natural for example at measures 34 and 36.
This is great stuff and I am very impressed by all your improvements.

For everyone in general. Please just do your own personal best and don't try to compete with anyone else. When it all gets mixed in it will be very nice and interesting regardless. I will be proud of everyone who sends me a contribution. For some it will be much worse than others and that is perfectly fine.
I only criticize for learning purposes and not because I don't like what I hear. We all learn at different speeds depending on how long we've been playing, how often we have time and motivation to practice, and depending on talent as well.
What will be special about this project is that we all team up and play together. Good or bad, we will do it and enjoy it. We have all levels here and that makes it even more fun.
I for one am very excited about the project and look forward to many more projects in the future.
I'm leaving for 5 days today and will start working on the mix at the end of next week. Have quite a few jobs on the weekend of the 10th and 11th but hope to finish the mix the following week. I won't be online much the next 5 days if any at all. Good luck with your parts. You don't need to post them here or ask for critique. I'll mix them in without comments. Just send them to me via sprend or some other file sending site.

I've sent my submission in. Im not totally happy with it but its the best Ive got since I cant do another retake. (cant hold my violin properly with my massive bruised cheeks) Hopefully its good enough for you to work with though

It is my opinion...The final video/audio may be sent directly to FM so as not to cause embarrassment to anybody. Let us hear the final unified version. Thank you Fiddle 43 and Chinny. Australia is ahead! Others still have time. I hope pky is alright.

I've just finished about 12 takes and am running through them now, hoping ONE of them is decent enough to send in.
Based on what I've heard of my stuff so far, FM is going to have his hands full trying to bury me deep enough to make me seem palatable. I've got a lot of bow bouncing, unintentional double-stops and just flat-out missed notes.

LOLOLOL whoops didnt realise i had it under private instead of unlisted. Ive just changed the privacy setting so you should be able to see it now haha. Im slowly getting better. My cheeks are still amazingly puffy but the swelling has just started to reduce.

Hey Mad_ and Chinny, great Violin1.
I was going to put a note in here that I'm pulling out of the project because I just can't do it. I practise every non-working day, but I just don't get it, it sounds dreadful. But after FM's post saying it doesn't have to be perfect, I'll leave it up to him to decide if he puts me in or not. It's really dreadful, but I'll get the camera out anyway, because I was so looking forward to being part of the project.
Wish me luck. Wet season has started and it's unbearably hot, I hope I can do it.
If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

I found myself at home with no children for about a half hour today. That NEVER happens! I did my recording and sent the file off to Pierre. It's not fantastic, but it'll have to do. I'm looking forward to the finished project.
