Oh, HC...read back through your jokes and posts on this site and tell me how I can take you serious. I just thought you were making another joke.

It should of been a joke cause you made me laugh. No harm intended by me at all HC.

And like BCShalom just said, "It's all good SHOFAR" ;-)

Thank you all for your support and concern.  I was in bed for about a week and I'm back but not 100% well -- I was and still am battling with a bad sinus infection (or cold? or whatever i caught at work) possibly a flu combined (achy fever, may be a reaction to flu shot I had about a couple weeks ago?) as well as side effect of antibiotic. I am still congested and have fluid in my ears and the fluid is making me off balance and less tolerant of any noise (especially kids' screaming or violin) :P I'm trying decongestant now and hope that will help. I will do my best for the Christmas project:))

Time for me to attempt to change the subject. wink

How's it going with your recordings? I wonder who the first will be.

I'm loving the click track. It's so much fun to practice with. Hopefully I'll start recording soon. Like HC, I want to be ready to capture "the one".

You are probably responding to some old questions. We chose two pieces which I combined and posted sheet-music, demos, tutorials and a click-track here on the site.

Here is the link in case you feel like joining the project.

Well, I'm practising my butt off, I love to use the click track, but I'm still getting ahead of the timing, can't seem to get it right.

My worst problem is that the mp3 earplug keeps falling out mid tune ... I'll get that straightened out if I have to use Superglue to keep it there ...

Yeah, those little earplugs never work for me. I use giant, old-fashioned headphones. Those suckers aren't going anywhere.

I use the ear buds but with the little arms that keep them from falling off.  The same ones I use for running.

Thanks SaraO ... yes I have a great pair of headsets for jogging, but they're not very subtle when you're trying to pretend you're doing it all by yourself.

rofl

Stubshaft, you've got the best idea, I have a pair of those somewhere ... I put them somewhere safe so I could find them ... hmmmmm .... now where was that?

I'm interested in participating in the project, but is there a definite deadline in which we have to submit our video by? And which violin part do you need more of as of now?

Which ever part seems achievable. I actually talked about getting the videos in by the 29th but I'll be out of town and coming back home on the 1st so the deadline can be moved forward to the 1st of December everyone. clap
