OK, need some bowing critique/help plus: advice; esp, how are you supposed to bow a single note held for quarter note and two whole notes (7 beats in 3/4 time)

Hi Gary
I've only been at this myself for about 20 months myself so at times I'm a little reticent to critique others. But here goes
What I can see is that you are bowing over the fingerboard. Try to bow 'about' halfway between the fingerboard and the bridge.
Try to use a bit more elbow and a little less shoulder
Try slowing the bow down a bit
It looks like you don't have much tension on your bow. The looser the bow hair is the easier it is to bow 2 strings rather than one (a good thing to remember when you move on to double stops) But too much may cause bow bounce. Play around with it.
You can play longer notes if you bow slower.
I hope there is something that you can use there
But its sounding good
How long have you been at it now?
Seen it all. Done it all. Can't remember most of ..... What was I saying????

Thanks @Ferret ; I've been at it since April 1 = approx 7 months. My worst bowing emerges on slow songs; I appreciate all of your input.
