Oh yeah! Looks so good! 👍🏻😊

What if I want to do more than one part? Should I dress differently in every part, so you wouldn’t notice it’s me again? 🤣

@Ilona - if/when someone submits multiple parts, Pierre will use ONE video, but will also strip-out the audio from the other videos and mix them all down.... so - for example - say 70 total contributors, with some doing several parts - may end up with say - 150 videos, one video from each contributor will be used, along with the stripped-out-audio from the remainder....

Did that make sense ???  LOL, just about !

Aah, ok, thanks @BillyG!

I’m going to ask if my daughter might want to do one part also. I think it would be super fun, but not sure what she would say.

I copied the project info onto a 1-page document that can be printed out.  Sometimes people like to read & ponder something in hardcopy form.

Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words.

Thank you, SharonC -

That pdf will really help me, especially so I won't forget the deadline (lol).

This looks like fun.  Thank you ELCB and Fiddlerman.

I think I'll be able to get part 6 and hopefully one other part by the deadline.

Question.  In part 6, measures 37-38, should the whole and quarter notes be tied like in the other five parts?

Woohoo Jump EmoticonsHi! @Pierre Sings -

Very happy to hear you are taking part in the Group Project!

Strong possibility everything is exactly as intended because Fiddlerman makes these arrangements so people of all skill levels can participate.

@Fiddlerman ?

I'm hoping the click-tracks will be available soon because we need to be able to follow them.

Where do we post our videos for the project?

In addition, how is the recording supposed to be? Raw or mastered?

Do we have to record our video submissions outside in the snow for the proper holiday effect? My violin strings are starting to get rusty!

I hope not, I'd have to drive at least a couple hours to get to anywhere that sees snow at all. (And I'm currently in the coldest place I've ever lived. I can count the number of times I've seen snow falling in my life on the fingers of one hand.)

We got up to a little snow this morning. Never melted. Never got warm enough. Should be gone tomorrow, though.

Smiley Playing With Snow Smiley

Well... for those of you without Snow or without a Carbon Composite Instrument (he, he, he - sorry🙄), there are shower curtains with amazing, Winter Scenes!

Less expensive than a photo shoot backdrop. 😁

Have you already decided your part(s)? I like cello part 3 the most, so I’m going to do at least that. 👍🏻

@fiddlerman Just a slight problem with the all instruments click track - the clicks stop a few bars before the end (though the instruments go on) making it difficult to place the last 2 note properly. I haven't listened to the other click tracks.

It's a bit livelier than I've been practicing it, but I'm sure it'll be fine! beg
