Yay! Videos are trickling in! Keep 'em coming!

Just a reminder, if you edit your video in video editing software -- or if you shoot it directly with video editing software -- such as Windows Live Movie Maker, or similar -- please export it to a standard video file format. Your file should have one of the following extensions:

  • .avi
  • .wmv
  • .mpeg
  • .mov

If you send the file in the software project file format, I may not be able to open it. In particular, I've had trouble opening files ending with the .mswmm extension, even though that's a Windows Live Movie Maker file and I have Windows Live Movie Maker. I must have a different version. You'd think Microsoft would make the files compatible, but...guess not.

Thanks! -- Diane

Got it, Mt. Fiddler!! So far, I've received five videos from four people: Steve, Mad_Wed, PFish and Mt. Fiddler.

It's definitely not too late for others to join in the fun! If you definitely want to participate but need a little more time, just let me know how long you need.

In fact, I'm not gonna call this done until I get a video from Robyn...after all, it was her idea.

Awwww ... Diane, you don't play fair ... now I can't slink off unseen.

Well, you asked for it, so I will sprend it ... don't expect anything of a 'Naska' standard though.

I've spent a few days wishing I could crawl into a hole, now I'm just a walking snot machine, and the very poor video I actually got was the only one without a sneeze mid-tune (might've helped though ... dynamics and all).

Thank you all for your support on this project, and to Diane for actually getting it together.  I would never have taken on something like video editing, I wouldn't know where to start.  And I've always admired Pierre's patience with our efforts.

I hope the finished product is going to make you proud Diane.

If we can have til this weekend it would be great for me.
So far, every attempt at recording has been a calamity with a capital K?
I even put the jackplug in my ear in one take, instead of the ear piece?

Woo hoo!! Got videos -- melody and descant -- from Robyn!!

Sure, Terry. No problem. Think you better lay off the brandy, though, if you don't know which end of the earbuds go in your ear. (Hint: it's not the pointy end.)

:)

I've heard from one other person by PM that he needs more time.

Also, I forgot to mention that I did get a video from Ken early on, though I haven't been able to open the file. I'll keep working on that, Ken.

We're almost there!

Sorry I wasn't able to participate in this project.

Just prior to, and during deadline week, I ended up under the weather with some kind of cold/flu stuff.

Looking forward to seeing the final video. I know it will be a great onesmile

Technically, it's not too late! I've only done some preliminary work on the video. I have to work tomorrow (Sat. 3/2), so I won't have any concentrated time to work on the video until Sunday.

If anyone really, really wants to participate and can Sprend me a video by, say, 8:00 am EST on Sunday, 3/3, I'll be able to include it.

Again, to Sprend it, go to http://www.sprend.com and send it to [email protected].

Hey Feathers ... if I can record a video with tissues stuffed up my nose to stop me sneezing, then anyone can.

As I said, the sneezes may have enhanced my contribution.

Hi Robyn,

All better now, but thank you for the extra encouragement  coffee

I'm usually to stubborn to let it slow me down, but this time the cold/flu won the argument.....LOL!

Hope your sniffles are gone now toosmile

Nice production KindaScratchy > I enjoyed watching it > what video editing software did you use? > I have played around with video editing a small bit > its a lot of work > fun to do but does take time to get everything in sync, etc. > you did a nice job of it. Its really enjoyable to watch members play in a group project like this. I'm hoping to participate in the near future.
