A funny thing happened today on the way to the Forum.
Around noon today, I was sitting in my recliner watching TV like usual and playing my violin. After playing for about 30 minute's or so my phone rings. Reaching over and grabbing it, opening the flip, I looked to see the Caller ID as being my next door neighbor. "Hi, Jan, what's up", I answered. "Hi, Ken, oh not too much", she replied. She say's, "will you do me a huge favor, I'ts kinda silly but, will you come over and say hi to, Harley", he's been looking over at your house and barking constantly for about 45 minute's". "Harley", is their 5 year old Lhasa Apso pooch. She say's, "I can't figure what in the world he's barking at, except he want's some outside attention. I replied, " Jan, I'm playing my violin, that's probably what he hear's". "It must be that because he's stopped now" she said. I had stopped playing to answer my phone.
I then told her about people here on the forum who's dog's and cat's run and hide when their master's fiddle around.
I just thought it was kinda cute and since it was violin related, I thought I'd share this with the folk's here in the forum.
That's a, Harley look a like.

Thats cute.
I was dog sitting for my parents about a month ago and took my violin along for something to do. I was working on a song that had a lot of notes on the A and E stings and anytime I hit a whole note their dog would do a high pitch howl for the length of the note. I couldn't help but laugh everytime it happened and he is a very quite dog. I even went and closed myself in a room to try and practice but he just sat outside the door and would howl with the notes. It ended up becoming a little game and when ever I take my violin over he just sits right in front of me ready to add the harmony.
Just one of his many goofy characteristics.

I have three ferrets that run about the house. The fiddle doesn't seem to worry them except that they give me an odd look every now and then.
They also like to climb onto the fiddle and seem to be interested in the noises that come out.
Odd little animals.
Seen it all. Done it all. Can't remember most of ..... What was I saying????

I'm beginning to think there's something seriously wrong with my little fuzzball of a cat. She loves my playing and would gladly join in if she could. She acts more like Ferret's ferrets (hehe!) -- no running and hiding to be seen. Not that I'm complaining!
And that dog is seriously cute! Love the ears.

At least the dogs just bark and the cats run away. My rabbit bit me.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.....9Bynjh2LkT
It's no match for my ferrets. 'Billy', would have him for lunch.
